Job Title: Visual Quality Inspector

Shifts: Day and Swing shifts available

Job Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting various product and quality process server inspections. You will document inspection results by completing reports and logs, and accurately input data into the quality database. Your role will include conducting daily audits of your assigned area, verifying tools for proper torque and calibrations, and ensuring proper Electrostatic discharge procedures are followed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of products and quality processes.
• Document inspection results through reports and logs.
• Input data into the quality database accurately.
• Perform daily audits in assigned areas to verify tool calibration.
• Ensure compliance with Electrostatic discharge procedures.
• Capture footage of servers using company camera for test and repair teams.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections.

Essential Skills

• Visual inspection skills.
• Quality control and quality inspection expertise.
• Ability to interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with electronics assembly.
• Strong attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• At least 6 months of related experience.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
• Manual dexterity and ability to work on ladders.
• Effective teamwork skills.
• Ability to communicate and follow verbal and written directions.

Work Environment

The work environment is high security and clean, requiring standing for long periods and adhering to Electrostatic discharge procedures. It can be loud, necessitating ear protection. The role involves using both pen and paper and computers to log inspection data. Training includes a one-week program at the training center followed by 2-3 weeks of station-specific training.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
