About the Role

We're looking for a seasoned Back-End Engineer to help build and scale a fast, secure, and resilient booking and payment platform. In this role, you'll shape the architecture, drive high-impact projects, and collaborate across teams to deliver seamless booking experiences.

• Develop and maintain reliable, high-performance APIs, with a primary focus on Ruby.
• Integrate third-party services to enhance and extend platform functionality.
• Optimize existing infrastructure to ensure scalability, performance, and security.
• Serve as a technical leader and subject matter expert by:
• Establishing and promoting engineering best practices.
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to drive complex, high-impact initiatives.

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate and recommend alternative technical approaches.
• Experience working with Ruby in a professional setting.
• Clear and effective communication skills, including the ability to work with senior stakeholders.

• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• Background in building or integrating with payment systems.
• Good experience with non relational databases.
• Understanding of microservices architecture, particularly GRPC.
• Experience designing and maintaining high-performance APIs and platforms.
• Project management or team leadership experience.
