Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17 - $18 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Traffic Technician Assistant :

• Work with team to establish safe movement of traffic around work zones
• Flag motorists to warn them of obstacles or repair work ahead 
• Take ownership of work zone and pass vehicles safely 
• Place signs, barricades, traffic cones, and other warning devices- duties will vary according to job assignment 
• Respond to emergencies as directed and perform tasks in the interest of public safety and property protection during emergencies 

Available shifts:

Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day) , 2nd Shift (Evening) , 3rd Shift (Night)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Communication skills required - Traffic Technician Assistants remain in constant contact with the crew
• Remain in a stationary position for long periods at a time
• Traffic Technician Assistant Certification Required
• Must have reliable transportation or be able to use own vehicle; mileage will be reimbursed
• Flagging or traffic technician certification preferred
• Construction experience is a plus
• CA Driver's License required to be considered for permanent placement
• Background check and drug screening required
