What You Will Do:

• Coordinate with the Department Manager in planning and delegating daily work assignments and schedules to associates. Ensure that all Zenput Submission Reports are submitted by the expected cutoff time
• Communicate attendance, performance, productivity, staffing or training issues, system improvement needs, or any other relevant information to the Department Managers in a timely, thorough, and professional manner
• Assist in training new and current employees. Educate the team on product knowledge and convey enthusiasm
• Ensure that department employees provide excellent customer service
• Collaborate with upper management to help maintain and follow health and safety rules
• Ensure that the grocery floor and warehouse are organized before shifts end; no boxes or products should be left on the floor
• Ensure that clerks are properly working on incoming products; this includes matching UPCs, rotating, and checking dates consistently. No cutting in items without a supervisor or management being aware.
• Arrive at the work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed, and ready to work. Work all scheduled shifts and attend required training and meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

• 3 years of grocery management experience required.
• Good communication skills.
• Effective time management skills.
• Ability to consistently lift 35 - 50 lbs, unaided.
