Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,060 - $2,110 per week

Physical Therapist Job Details

• Location: Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546 – Experience California hospital jobs in a vibrant mountain community known for world-class skiing, hiking, biking, and fishing, plus excellent amenities and a welcoming small-town atmosphere.
• Assignment Type: Locum tenens Physical Therapist (travel contract)
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital – inpatient and outpatient physical therapy services
• Start Date: December 1, 2025
• End Date: March 2, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed 40 hours)
• Housing: Dorm-style, fully furnished apartments available (subject to availability), including private kitchens, bathrooms, Wi-Fi, cable, pool, and fitness facilities.

Physical Therapist Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active California Physical Therapist license required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist preferred
• Strong clinical skills and ability to collaborate with patients, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Physical Therapist Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients referred for physical therapy and develop individualized treatment plans and goals
• Administer physical therapy treatments, perform evaluation tests, and measure patient progress
• Deliver 1:1 patient care with 45-minute appointments each hour
• Reassess and revise treatment plans every 6 weeks or as needed based on patient outcomes
• Document patient progress promptly to support physician follow-up and insurance compliance
• Collaborate with hospital staff and departments to ensure optimal patient care
• Participate in weekday and Saturday shifts; share inpatient care coverage on holidays and Sundays as needed
