TravelNurseSource is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified CVICU RN in Sacramento, California, 95843!

Start Date:  06-09-2026

End Date:  09-08-2026

Contract Type:  Contract

Shift Type:  12-hour shifts, Days start at 7:00 AM and Nights start at 5:45 PM. Every other weekend and rotating holidays. OT and extra shifts available.

Hours per Week:  36

Candidate Pay Rate:  $83 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Cardiovascular Surgical ICU setting
• Work effectively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage complex patient cases
• Participate in charge nurse duties and break relief as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Cardiovascular ICU setting
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Previous travel experience required
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity environment

Education

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiovascular Surgical ICU experience
• Critical care skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
