Associate Governmental Program Analyst
Job Description and Duties
Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the California Security Printer Unit (SPU) Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) performs a wide variety of analytical assignments relating to the SPU. The AGPA provides guidance and outreach to approved security printers, analyzes and processes security printer applications, maintains files of approved security printers, investigates regulatory inquiries, performs audits and prepares reports on audit findings, advises law enforcement on the statutory and regulatory requirements of SPU, and routinely updates the SPU internet website to ensure information is accurate and current. The AGPA makes recommendations to management regarding policy and regulations. The AGPA serves as a subject matter expert working independently or with others to perform a wide variety of the more complex consultative and analytical assignments. The AGPA provides training to approved security printers. Travel to security printer sites to conduct audits and inspections may be required. The AGPA also supports the Special Projects Unit of the Program Services Section, and other areas of the CURES Program, as needed.

Working Conditions
This position is designated for telework under Government Code section 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California and may require reporting to headquarters or field offices and facilities to fulfill operational needs. All telework schedules are subject to change and may be reevaluated at any time. Telework does not change the terms and conditions of employment, the essential functions of job duties, or required compliance with the Department of Justice policies.
This position is eligible for telework, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.
