Valley Mountain Regional Center is pleased to announce we’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Office Technician to support the daily administrative operations of our Case Management team.

What You’ll Do

Be the Backbone of Our Operations:

Provide essential administrative support through data entry, document management, and communication coordination to help keep our service systems running efficiently.

Support The Team With Accuracy & Precision

Process, organize, and maintain both physical and electronic records, assist with internal and external correspondence, and ensure timely distribution of critical information and mail.

Engage With Purpose

Interact with staff, families, vendors, and community partners with professionalism and confidentiality—often being the first point of contact for inquiries and support.

Contribute To Service Excellence

Coordinate support activities for internal clinicians, case management staff, and students by preparing materials, managing packets, and assisting with event and class logistics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate central telephone system and screen calls
  • Sort and distribute incoming/outgoing mail
  • Greet and assist visitors
  • Perform Laserfiche scanning, linking, and file transfers
  • Process copy requests and assist with file maintenance
  • Word process and proofread correspondence and reports
  • Provide support for vendorization and CDER coordination
  • Compile data and assist in preparing reports
  • Send out IFSPs, IPPs, RFIs, and other correspondence as directed
  • Support student interns and clinical training sessions
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions

What You’ll Bring/Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (A.A. degree or business certificate may substitute for one year of experience)
  • Minimum of two years of office experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
  • Ability to type 25 words per minute
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility and a positive attitude
  • Professional demeanor in both internal and public-facing roles
