Senior Product Manager, Core Standards - Engine Signals
The opportunity
Join us at Unity to build the future of data-driven standards that empower developers and drive transparency across our ecosystem. As a Senior Product Manager for Core Standards, Engine Signals, you'll have the opportunity to grow a groundbreaking initiative that defines how we collect and leverage data to generate nutrition labels for advertising and beyond. This is a meaningful role where you'll shape the technical foundation for data collection that supports developer needs and influences how they build games. This is your chance to build something from the ground up that will shape the games industry.
What you'll be doing
- Define and prioritize data collection strategies that support nutrition label generation for the Unity package ecosystem
- Partner with engineering teams to implement data collection frameworks within Unity's engine and services
- Balance data collection needs with privacy considerations, ensuring responsible practices that offer clear value to developers
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to align data collection efforts with broader business goals and developer needs
What we're looking for
- Technical background with hands-on experience in software development or engineering
- Strong understanding of data collection methodologies for machine learning applications
- Proven track record working with large-scale data systems and privacy-compliant data practices
- Ability to work effectively in multi-functional teams spanning product, engineering, and data science
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
You might also have
- Experience with data privacy regulations and frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
