Senior Staff Accountant
Overview
We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team at Bourbon Heights Inc. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to manage crucial accounting functions and contribute to the financial health of our organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Oversee the month-end close process, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support financial decision-making.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Conduct audits and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Nice to have
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
