Assembly Operator

Acara Solutions is looking for an Assembly Operator to work temporarily (Approximately 6 months) for our partner located in Valencia, CA who specializes in Aerospace manufacturing.

Here is what you will get:

• Pay Rate - $18.80 - $27.84 depending on experience
• Hours – 1 st shift 6:00 a.m.- 2:30pm
• Duration of Assignment – approx. 6 month

Here is what you will do:

• Adjusts disc springs to required settings.
• Functionally cycles switches to stabilize components making necessary set ups with a minimum of technical assistance.
• Checks, synchronizes and tests products using a variety of hand tools (i.e. screwdrivers and pliers) and precision measuring instruments such as calipers, gages and dial indicators to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition.
• May be required to safety wire parts as necessary according to instructions.
• Troubleshoots and repairs units needing rework.
• May be required to drill and install pin per assembly routers

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• A minimum of 1 year of working in a manufacturing setting
• Able to read pressure gages.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
• Ability to read, speak and write in English, follow verbal and written instructions.
• A moderate amount of concentration is required involving coordination of mental processes and physical responses.
