Gateway High School - Temporary Part-Time Humanities Teacher: March 16- June 3, 2026

Humanities Teacher Responsibilities:

Teach 2 blocks (4 periods) of Humanities 9 World Cultures/Ethnic Studies, including but not limited to:

• Collaborating with the Humanities 9 team to plan curriculum
• Assessing and giving feedback on student work
• Submitting grades for students
• Communicating with families

Qualifications:

• Commitment to Gateway's mission, including a desire to work with a diverse student body
• Preferred: Current California single subject credential in English Language Arts or social science
• Bilingual and BIPOC candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Compensation Range:

Commensurate with experience and FTE level. Credentialed teacher full-time salary scale is $85,000 -$110,000
