We are excited to announce a career opportunity for which we are seeking expressions of interest from qualified candidates who wish to be considered for the Senior Project Manager/Construction role for the Education Sector in Southern California, Los Angeles County area. As a Construction Management Professional of capital projects, you’ll be responsible for the management of various subcontractors, process improvement activities, training and day to day leadership of all PMCM staff aligned to this client group. Duties will include: Oversight of education facilities projects on one or more campuses, team mobilization, and reporting to the client's senior management and
administration, weekly and monthly reporting, establishment of PMCM best practices, schedule management, change management and executive reporting. The CM Professional will be responsible for guiding and managing the capital projects team in Design, Construction, Commissioning, Activation and Stabilization. This will also include overall project delivery (cost, schedule, budget, quality, and contract negotiation) on assignments and will manage project development from inception through completion (both large and small) in accordance with the client’s program objectives. We’ll look to you to manage all budgets, schedules, scope development, design and construction contracts, documents, procedures and controls for assigned projects. You’ll manage the review and approval process for consultant invoices and contractor pay applications as well as change orders and coordinate with Control Manager for proper posting in the reporting program.
As the CM Professional, you’ll manage and resolve complex design and construction related issues, disputes, and disagreements; and review status and monitor variances of the construction project database relative to scheduling and cost control reporting. Additionally, you’ll attend assigned meetings, conduct chartering engagements, integrate and communicate with all stakeholders, develop and hold weekly job progress meetings with staff and document performance as necessary.

Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent combination of construction project management and significant related project experience.
- 15+ years of related design and construction project management experience with education or similar public buildings
- Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management (GMP/ lump sum), project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building
- Strong working knowledge in vendor procurements, change order negotiation, budget and schedule management, operational governances, client satisfaction and management.
Ideally, You'll Have:
- Multiple Delivery Methods execution: Design Bid Build, Design Build, Progressive Design Build, Design Assist and Multi Prime Delivery experience
- Large project team leader for at least 5 years, have managed a team of 10 or more

The base salary range for this position is $128,200.00 to $200,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
