*Hiring for W2 part-time bather to schedule 2-3 days a week 7:30am-5pm; 18-26 hours a week at $15hr. Mobile grooming requires traveling by grooming vehicle.

Fluffy By Nature Pet Grooming is seeking a dedicated and motivated dog/cat bather to help support our growing organization. This position requires a thorough understanding of animal skin and hair care so the successful candidate will learn to have extensive knowledge of grooming, as well as excellent communication skills, interpersonal abilities, and an eye for detail. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with animals, has great attention to detail, and is able to work well under pressure. As a mobile groomer, you are required to have your own transportation to home offices in Ontario and Eastvale, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Wash, blow dry and brush dog/cat, as well as other common grooming procedures (nails trimming, ear cleaning).
• Properly restrain animals as needed so they cannot move or cause injury.
• Explain to the owner the process and follow the veterinarian's instructions for each procedure and/or treatment and record and report any findings.
• Monitor and record the pet's vital signs.
• Clean and disinfect equipment.
• Perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, trash collection, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Clean up after pets.
• Observe pets' behavior closely to detect potential illness.
