**Team description**
We are the Business Continuity Management (BCM) team. We develop applications that help safeguard critical business functions from disruptions-such as cyberattacks, natural disasters, or system outages-and enable rapid recovery of operations.
**Summary of role**
In this role, you'll primarily collaborate with developers and quality engineers to build both the front end and back end of applications on the ServiceNow platform. The front end is an in-house solution built on top of React, while the back end uses JavaScript along with our proprietary ORM, GlideRecord. For testing, we use Java, Selenium, and Jenkins. You'll also work closely with Product Management to help shape the direction and functionality of the product.

**To be successful in this role you have:**
+ Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
+ 0 - 2 years of work experience in software development
+ Achieved **_no higher than_** **a Bachelor's degree** in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
+ Experience with debugging and testing software through a CI lifecycle
+ Experience with Java and/or Python, C/C++, OOP, and Design Patterns
+ Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
+ Some working knowledge and ability to use tools to assist with daily tasks (IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools)
+ experience with React, Jenkins, and/or Selenium is a plus

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $117,000, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
