Sr Analyst, Finance

Pay range: 43-53/hr
*depending on experience

Summary:
The main functions of a financial analyst are to gather and analyze information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting key economic programs of public or private institutions. A typical analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating information for clients.

Job Responsibilities:
• Assemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports.
* Work in Tableau to build and update dashboards
• Analyze information to determine key insights; work with stakeholders to determine information needed (voice of customer), then execute
• Present oral and written reports on general economic trends, individual corporations and entire industries.

Skills:
• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
• Ability to work independently and manage ones time.
• Ability to analyze business trends and create insightful analyses and dashboards
• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software.

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial or systems/analysis discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.
* Experience with Tableau required
• 5-7 years data analysis experience required
