HVAC Chief Estimator
This is a permanent, full time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Review and approve HVAC Estimating projects and major buyout of projects.
- Coordinate with Chief Plumbing Estimator and report to Estimating Director.
- Mentor Jr/Mid-Level HVAC Estimators in helping them grow with the company.
- Communicate with subcontractors and vendors for any modifications on estimates.
- Meet with clients to develop and evaluate necessary data that needs to be gathered to complete project costs.
Requirements:
- Title 24 and OSHPD knowledge
- 10+ years of Estimating field experience working on large commercial HVAC projects: schools, hospitals, airports, high-rises, hotels, stadiums, data centers, commercial buildings, among others.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction or similar
- Strong technical skillset working with MS Excel, Quickpen/Accubid, BlueBeam, other estimating software knowledge is a plus.
