Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $26 - $32 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Excavator Operator:
- Operate excavators and related heavy equipment to perform tasks such as trenching, grading, loading, and site preparation
- Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and job specifications
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily, reporting any mechanical issues promptly
- Follow safety procedures and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment
- Work closely with site supervisors and crew members to complete assigned tasks
- Monitor work progress and adjust equipment operations as necessary to meet project requirements
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment
Available shifts:
Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)
Job requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or similar heavy equipment role
- Valid driver's license; CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred
- Certification in heavy equipment operation (OSHA or equivalent) a plus
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina and coordination
