Critical Facilities Manager
- 12+ demonstrated ability in facilities management, with a focus on critical infrastructure
- Shown experience in leading mechanical systems, fire life safety systems, building automation, and electrical systems
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and development
- Able to effectively convey ideas and information in both formal and informal settings, adapting to diverse audiences and presentation formats
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with the upkeep and function of buildings, building systems, machinery, landscape, and quality improvement projects
- Capability to diagnose, handle and resolve maintenance issues quickly and efficiently, including experience prioritizing and assigning materials and resources
- Demonstrated ability to create, critique, and be responsible for preventative and scheduled maintenance programs
- Ability to balance the trade-offs between operational risk and investment, constantly seeking the highest quality and design at the best value
- Demonstrated success in employee development and mentoring including fostering collaboration, continuous performance feedback and motivating the team to develop and apply tools for more efficient operations and improved customer service
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with facility operation, maintenance & services companies, utility companies, and government agencies
- Demonstrated ability to bring multi-functional teams together within and outside the Real Estate & Development function, including Security, IS&T, Finance, Corporate Communications, and Procurement to ensure standard methodologies and continual process improvement
- Strong resource management, balancing end user requirements with constantly evolving fiscal requirements and personnel resources/constraints Experience in conservation and sustainable building maintenance practices
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $207,600 and $311,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
