High-End Caregiver / Professional Care Companion
About the Role: We are seeking an exceptional Care Professional to provide elevated, dignified, and personalized care for clients who value excellence. This position is ideal for someone who embodies compassion, professionalism, and discretion — and who thrives in creating meaningful, supportive relationships with aging adults and their families. As a caregiver with Interim HealthCare of Santa Rosa, you’ll be working with a trusted local agency known for delivering gold-standard home care throughout Sonoma County. Many of our clients are private pay or long-term care insurance recipients who expect the highest quality of support — from personal care to companionship and lifestyle assistance. Who You Are:

- You are confident, capable, and calm under pressure
- You know how to read a room and respect privacy, boundaries, and high expectations
- Provide standby or hands-on support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Offer thoughtful companionship, engagement, and emotional presence
- Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders
- Support with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention using proper techniques
- Help manage appointments, errands, and transportation as needed
- Observe and document changes in condition; communicate effectively with care team
- Respect client preferences, routines, and dignity at all times
- 3+ years of professional caregiving experience
- CNA or HHA certification (preferred but not required)
- Experience with dementia care, hospice, or complex family dynamics
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Clear background check, current TB test, physical, and CPR certification
- Able to work legally in the U.S.
- Experience working in high-end private homes or with discerning clientele a plus
- Locally owned and operated with a deep commitment to quality of life
- Supportive office staff, care managers, and on-call team available 24/7
- Paid training, ongoing education, and specialty certifications (e.g., Teepa Snow)
