Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Loan Processing & Broker Relations Coordinator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Aliso Viejo, CA. This role supports wholesale mortgage origination by combining loan processing, broker relationship management, and operational coordination to help ensure each loan file moves smoothly from application through closing.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain productive relationships with mortgage brokers and external lending partners.
- Coordinate loan files from application through closing, ensuring documentation, timelines, and follow-ups are managed effectively.
- Assist with underwriting coordination, loan commitments, conditions, and related communication.
- Track loan pipeline activity, deadlines, outstanding items, and broker follow-up needs.
- Support broker appreciation events, networking opportunities, and relationship-building initiatives.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Managing Director of Wholesale Mortgage Origination.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $70,000 to $90,000 per year.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Location: Aliso Viejo, CA.

Additional Skills

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Coordinate mortgage loan files from application through closing.
- Manage broker communication, pipeline tracking, deadlines, and follow-ups.
- Support underwriting coordination, loan commitments, and operational workflow.
- Assist with broker relations, events, and administrative support for wholesale mortgage origination.

- 2 to 5+ years of loan processing and customer service experience.
- Knowledge of underwriting, real estate lending, and mortgage loan documentation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files, priorities, and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for broker, customer, and internal team interaction.
- Experience using CRM platforms and loan origination systems preferred.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced mortgage lending environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in wholesale mortgage origination or broker-facing lending support.
- Familiarity with mortgage pipeline management, loan conditions, and closing timelines.
- Prior experience supporting senior leadership or mortgage production teams.
- Strong relationship-building skills with mortgage brokers, lending partners, and internal stakeholders.
