As an Instructor/Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting clients as they develop vocational and life skills in a variety of community-based work environments, including janitorial, landscaping, retail, and more. Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized vocational instruction and training tailored to each client’s abilities, goals, and developmental needs.
  • Coach and support individuals with disabilities in learning and performing job tasks, promoting independence and ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Complete required documentation, including transportation logs, attendance records, job coach notes, objective sheets, incident/accident reports, time studies, and case management paperwork.
  • Follow all protocols, procedures, and expectations for the assigned program or department to ensure program compliance.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment, ensuring the health and well-being of all individuals at the worksite.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid California driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle (driving is required)
  • Ability to provide ongoing proof of state-required auto insurance
  • Ability to pass fingerprint clearance through the California Department of Justice and FBI
  • Basic computer and technology skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility, including availability to work weekends

Compensation

$23.00 per hour — Full-Time & Part-Time opportunities available. Includes a $250 sign-on bonus (paid at 90 and 180 days).
