EFP is hiring Full-Time Maintenance Technicians for the City of El Monte.

Details:

• Pay DOE- Starts @$25 hourly.
• Temp-to-hire
• Days: Monday-Friday
• Hours: 6am-2:30pm with occasional OT.

Position Overview:

Maintain facility equipment in manufacturing environment and perform scheduled preventive maintenance. Troubleshoot and repair facility’s various industrial equipment and perform building maintenance as assigned. Communicate with management on production equipment needs to minimize downtime.

Primary Job Functions:

• Maintaining industrial equipment and troubleshooting machinery.

• Complete tear-down and repair of industrial equipment, motors, pumps, etc.

• Performing routine preventative maintenance.

• Be able to read, interpret and follow operation and repair manuals.

• Cleaning, repairing, and installing equipment and parts as needed.

• Performing general maintenance work on building as assigned.

• Communicating with the production team and maintaining a clean work area.

• Ensure that all safety rules are followed, and safety equipment is used and properly maintained. Report violations to the safety committee.

Secondary Job Functions:

• Participate in team meetings/projects.

• Participate in 6S activities & Continuous Improvements activities.

• Participate in internal auditing system as required by quality management system.

• Understand of general maintenance procedures and techniques.

• Knowledge of mechanical machinery, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

• Knowledge of electrical 110 ACV through 480 ACV is a plus.

• Ability of lift and manipulate heavy equipment.
