Computer Systems Analyst I

Saalex  is seeking an  Computer Systems Analyst I  in  Camarillo, CA.  Saalex Solutions, a division of Saalex Corp., is an Engineering and Information Technology Services company with a focus on Test Range Operations and Management, Engineering and Logistics Services, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Services and Information Technology Services.

Position Type:  Full-Time

Salary: $27.63 - $31.08

Work Location:  Onsite. Travel to remote company work locations may be required.

Essential Functions:

• Comply with computer operation policy, standards, and procedures.
• Research routine user problems.
• Gather and compile data for reports.
• Carry out fact-finding and analysis, usually of a single activity or a routine problem.
• Establish and maintain filing system of databases for tracking and inventory of database information.
• Assist with editing and maintaining database programs.
• Enhance knowledge in the use of software and data collection systems.
• Interface with systems analysts, engineers, and other system users.
• Assist higher-level systems analysts with assigned tasks, as requested.
• Assist with special project activities relative to planning, computer program coding, and related activities.
• Each employee must read, understand, and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures, and policies pertaining to their job.
• Perform other job-related duties, as required.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in a typical office environment with no unusual hazards. Occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds), constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness are required.

Requirements

Required:

• Familiarity with related computer programming practices, system software, and computer equipment.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs.
• Ability to contribute to the investigation, troubleshooting, and the design solutions to problems in operational hardware and software.
• Effective communication and analytical skills.
• Good planning/organizational skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines.

Desired:

• Experience or Background in mathematics, graphs, and coordinates is a plus.

Education:

Associates Degree OR Vocational/technical training beyond high school and a minimum of six years of job-related experience.

Security Clearance:

Interim secret clearance required to start. Active secret clearance preferred. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
