Schedule: Varies weekly based on family's needs; must be available for weekend coverage

Overview / About the Family:
A warm and welcoming family in Thousand Oaks is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and engaging Summer Nanny to care for their sweet two-year-old child throughout the summer. The family is looking for a proactive caregiver who enjoys supporting toddler development through play, routine, outdoor activities, and age-appropriate learning experiences. This role is ideal for a patient, energetic nanny who can create a safe, loving, and structured environment while becoming a trusted part of the family’s daily routine.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for a two-year-old child
- Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development
- Maintain consistent nap, meal, and daily routines
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child
- Support language, motor, and social development through interactive play
- Take the child on walks, outings, and outdoor activities as appropriate
- Keep play areas, toys, and child-related spaces clean and organized
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding the child’s day and developmental milestones
- Ensure the child’s safety and well-being at all times
Requirements:
- Previous professional toddler childcare or nanny experience
- Strong understanding of toddler development and routines
- Patient, engaging, and dependable personality
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
- Ability to commit through the summer season
- 3–5 professional childcare references required
