Location-Type: Remote Flex (PST or EST)

Duration: 6-month contract (potential to extend)
Compensation Range: Up to $75/hr/ W2

Job Description:
Support user privacy operations by managing high-volume support tickets, resolving data-related issues, and improving privacy workflows.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Manage a high-volume privacy support inbox and resolve user tickets
- Act as an SME for privacy-related requests (PII, DSARs, etc.)
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with users across various personas
- Troubleshoot and resolve privacy issues in collaboration with engineers and stakeholders
- Prioritize and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Identify trends and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce ticket volume
Requirements:
Must-Haves:- 2 years of high-volume product or customer support experience
- 6 months of privacy-specific or PII-focused support experience
- Experience in Tier 2 or escalated support environments
- Strong written communication skills with a focus on empathy and clarity
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Experience handling Data Subject Requests (DSARs), GDPR, or CCPA-related workflows
- Comfortable working weekends as part of a scheduled shift
- Experience with tools like Zendesk, OneTrust, or BigID
- Background in SaaS, fintech, healthcare tech, or high-growth startups
- Familiarity with privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, PCI)
- Experience building or improving support processes
