Tax Office Assistant We are a tax practice seeking a friendly and organized team member to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.

About Us:

We are an expanding practice with a large client base, looking to add to our dedicated tax team. We are located in the Trillium Towers near the Warner Center, with a private park, abundant outdoor seating, and plenty of covered parking. We are also conveniently close to Westfield Topanga, The Village, and other great shopping and dining locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assembly of complete tax returns
• Assist clients with tax resolution and troubleshooting notices
• Communicate effectively with federal and local tax agencies via phone and written correspondence
• Process income tax refunds and collections for clients
• Log and organize client data
• Scan and organize client documents
• Ensure clients receive exceptional customer service
• Other duties as assigned

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization skills
• Computer proficient and a familiarity with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel in particular
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Strong attention to detail
• Tax Preparation experience is a plus

Education:

• High School diploma required. Associate's Degree or equivalent experience is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

• $20-$24/HR DOE
• Paid vacation days, sick days, and holidays, as well as additional paid days off after the peak season
• Parking Pass included

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 9 AM -6 PM. Some weekends during peak season, O/T pay included

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
