Chef de Partie
Job Description
Lazy Bear is currently looking for Chef de Parties for our ever expanding kitchen. We are a 2 Michelin Star Restaurant serving modern American cuisine, and utilizing seasonal and high quality market ingredients. We are interested in people with passion, integrity, and the desire to not only help us achieve a high level of cuisine but to also push the level of our creativity, experimentation, and standards on a daily basis.
Requirements
- A minimum of two years of experience in a fine dining kitchen, with some Michelin background preferred.
- Career-minded individuals that can grow with us.
- Great attitudes, personal integrity, attention to detail, dedication to cleanliness, strong organization, and a team mentality.
- California Food Handler Certification
- References from a previous manager/chef preferred
Job Duties Include but not Limited to:
- Intake and putting away deliveries
- Setting up the kitchen and its stations
- Prepping mise en place and making kits for recipes
- Making stocks, sauce bases, menu components
- Detailed prep and groundwork for larger projects
- Maintaining a clean, organized and sanitary work environment at all times
- Executing dishes for service

Lazy Bear is a fine dining restaurant in the heart of San Francisco’s Mission District. Awarded two Michelin stars, we serve modern American cuisine with a pre-fixe menu of many courses. The menu changes frequently and features hyper-seasonal, high-quality local ingredients. The right candidate will be joining a tight team comprised of strong individuals performing at the highest level of San Francisco dining.
