Therapist - Rimrock Program
Job Title : Full-Time Therapist (LMSW or Higher) – Specializing in Trauma, CBT, and EMDR for Children and Adolescents
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate therapist with expertise in trauma-informed care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to provide services to children and adolescents. This is a full-time position intended for a licensed mental health professional committed to assisting young individuals in navigating and overcoming the challenges associated with trauma and mental health issues. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in engaging with children and adolescents, applying age-appropriate therapeutic methodologies to facilitate healing and resilience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions that are customized to address the specific needs of children and adolescents, emphasizing trauma-informed care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) techniques.
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans designed to enhance each client’s emotional and mental well-being.
- Document all client interactions meticulously and maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical records.
- Engage in regular supervision, participate in case reviews, and pursue opportunities for professional development to enhance clinical competencies.
Qualifications
- Possession of a Licensed Master Social Worker (Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), or an equivalent credential).
- Demonstrated experience in working with children and adolescents, particularly those who have experienced trauma.
- Proficiency in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), coupled with a steadfast commitment to trauma-informed and client-centered care.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the capacity to effectively engage and develop rapport with young clients.
- Strong organizational abilities, with meticulous attention to detail in both documentation and treatment planning.
