About the Role
As a Loan Officer at West Capital Lending, you will be instrumental in helping clients secure financing that suits their individual needs. You’ll guide clients through the entire loan process, evaluate financial information, and offer tailored loan solutions while ensuring compliance with all regulations. This role combines sales, service, and strategy—with the tools and support to succeed.
What We Offer

- Compensation: Take-home commission up to 200-350 bps per closed loan
- Support: Full backing from an in-house manager and in-house processing team to ensure 100% support throughout the loan process
Key Responsibilities
- Assess loan applications by reviewing credit reports, financial documents, and client goals
- Recommend appropriate loan products based on client eligibility and financial situation
- Guide clients through the entire loan process, ensuring a smooth and informed experience
- Verify documentation and ensure compliance with all regulations
- Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and support teams to drive timely approvals
- Maintain detailed knowledge of lending guidelines, market conditions, and regulations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and referral business
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Loan Officer or loan officer assistant
- Current Loan Officer license (NMLS)
- Strong understanding of loan products, underwriting, and industry compliance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to assess financial data and determine creditworthiness
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and loan processing software
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
