Summary: This position is responsible for managing activities of treasury operations including but not limited to: cash management and forecasting; liquidity management; management of bank relationships; and improving treasury related processes.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assists in developing and implementing corporate treasury policies and strategies that are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

• Develops and leads cash forecasting (daily, weekly, monthly) within the P&C business and investment functions to enable prudent liquidity while helping to maximize funds available for long term investment. Monitors actual performance against projections and routinely revise projections.

• Recommends and establishes cash targets at entity or operational level to support liquidity needs.

• Manage investment of excess liquidity to improve net interest income.

• Partners with investment function portfolio managers to provide insights and guidance on liquidity needs to optimize returns from long-term investment portfolios.

• Serves as liaison between treasury, Finance, our operational and business units, accounting, tax, and investments providing treasury expertise and consulting.

• Develops and manages relationships with brokers, bankers, and custodian cash products including management of periodic RFP process and negotiations of agreements related to treasury operations functions. Maintains the organization's banking relationships.

• Assists in developing and implementing key performance metrics related to Treasury performance. Responsible for Treasury reporting as part of ongoing management reporting.

• Additional responsibilities include: evaluating what-if scenarios, liquidity stress testing, supporting investment accounting, along with ad hoc analytical or reporting requests.

What You'll Bring To The Company:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CFA designation preferred, with at least 5 years finance experience with a track record of increasing responsibility preferred. Experience with financial modelling, forecasting and analytics preferred. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections are needed. Strong analytical, decision making, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills are needed. Excellent communication and presentation skills, including ability and experience in compiling and presenting information to a senior management level. Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
