RF/Microwave Power Amplifier Test Technician (X/Ku/Ka-Band)

About the role

Picture your day in our Cypress, CA lab: you power up the bench, calibrate the network analyzer, and get hands-on with RF/microwave power amplifiers across X, Ku, and Ka bands. You’ll fine‑tune performance, probe open‑die semiconductor devices under the microscope, and move designs from engineering prototypes into initial production runs—ensuring every unit meets exacting standards.

What you’ll do

• Tune and test RF/microwave power amplifiers operating at X, Ku, and Ka bands.
• Handle, tune, and test open chip (die-level) semiconductor devices with care and precision.
• Validate RF/microwave products from development through introduction to production.

What you bring

• At least 2 years of direct experience in RF/microwave test.
• Knowledge of IPC-610 and MIL-STD-883/-750/-1580.
• Hands-on proficiency with spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power meters, and related lab instruments.
• Experience working with epoxies and bonding materials.
• Familiarity with manufacturing tools: reflow and curing ovens, pick-and-place, DAP furnace, and cleaning processes.
• Comfortable performing detailed work under a microscope.

Compensation and location

Pay: $25–$30 per hour
