Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Join as a traveling Physical Therapist in Sacramento, CA, working in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting dedicated to intensive, patient-focused care. You will treat patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury while contributing to multidisciplinary rehabilitation plans.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active California physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience in inpatient acute rehabilitation, post-acute care, or similar rehab hospital settings preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to provide intensive, patient-centered rehabilitation for diagnoses such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital preferred.
• Experience collaborating in interdisciplinary teams and creating individualized treatment plans preferred.

• Shift Hours: 0800-1700.
• Shift Days: Days.
