What you'll handle
- Coordinate and support building/facility maintenance every day.
- Perform essential electrical work: replace outlets, wall switches, and light fixtures.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Execute general maintenance (minor plumbing, mechanical fixes, and preventative maintenance).
- Safely operate hand and power tools to complete repairs efficiently.
- Assist with supervision of maintenance staff; assign and follow up on daily tasks.
- Uphold a safe, clean, well-organized workspace.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Required: Basic electrical background, including replacing outlets and wall switches.
- Comfort troubleshooting electrical equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience (e.g., oil changes, tool use).
- Demonstrated supervisory or lead experience.
- Self-directed leadership, strong problem-solving, and meticulous attention to detail.
