Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist with 2+ years of payroll experience to support accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of payroll practices, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Review timesheets, earnings, deductions, garnishments, and tax withholdings.
• Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data accuracy.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
• Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and year-end reporting.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Partner with HR and Accounting to support payroll-related processes.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, Paycom, UKG, or similar.
• Strong understanding of payroll laws, taxes, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• CPP certification is a plus but not required.
