HR Administrator
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to support a broad range of HR functions with a strong emphasis on employee relations, workplace investigations, and compliance . The ideal candidate will be a proactive HR professional who can effectively manage sensitive employee matters, maintain confidentiality, and partner with leadership to promote a positive and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations concerns and workplace issues.
- Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding company policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Assist in resolving employee conflicts, complaints, and workplace concerns in a fair and consistent manner.
- Support performance management processes, corrective actions, and documentation.
Investigations
- Conduct or assist with workplace investigations involving employee complaints, policy violations, harassment, discrimination, misconduct, and other employment-related matters.
- Gather, document, and analyze evidence, including witness interviews and relevant records.
- Prepare investigation summaries, findings, and recommendations while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with applicable employment laws.
- Partner with management and legal counsel, as needed, on investigation-related matters.
Human Resources Administration
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Support HR compliance initiatives and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Prepare reports, track HR metrics, and assist with audits.
- Participate in special HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Human Resources experience.
- Demonstrated experience handling employee relations matters and workplace investigations .
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
Preferred
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or other HR certification.
- Experience in California employment law and investigations.
- Experience supporting multi-site or diverse workforces.
