Sr. Superintendent (K-12 Construction)
Our client is seeking a results-oriented Senior Superintendent with experience in large scale construction to join our Sacramento team. The Senior Superintendent will manage a singular large project and/or multiple project teams throughout area to meet or exceed company and client expectations. The projects may range to over $50 million in construction costs.
The employee’s primary responsibility will be for all onsite activities of a construction project ranging from start-up to punch-out, including:
- Coaching subcontractors on safe construction practices
- Quality control, ensuring all subcontractor deficiencies are corrected
- Maintaining the project schedule and establishing the critical path for subs and vendors
- Facilitating and encouraging subcontractor coordination
- Working with design team and owner to overcome challenges / unforeseen conditions
- Reviewing all drawings, specifications and submittals
- Daily progress reports and weekly schedule updates
The Senior Superintendent’s role is to ensure whatever is required to facilitate the construction of the project on site from beginning to completion while utilizing best practices in safety, quality, schedule and cost while maintaining relationships with both our trade partners and our clients. These projects are K-12 school districts. The projects may range from $30 million to over $50 million in construction costs.

Position Requirements
- Minimum 10 years construction experience
- K-12 experience preferred
- Minimum 5 years supervisory experience
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
- Complete and detailed experience with subcontractor and construction sequencing
- Understanding of ASI’s, RFI’s and Material Submittals
- Technology: Experience with Microsoft Office, MS Project and Procore
- Experience with CMAR and/or Design/Build delivery methods
- Must work well in a team environment and be committed to client service
- OSHA 30
- A valid Driver’s License
- Minimum 5 years supervisory experience
