Nutrition Support Specialist

Salary:
$95,000 – $105,000 + comprehensive benefits

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Nutrition Support Specialist to support patients receiving complex infusion therapies while driving growth in parenteral nutrition (PN) services. This role blends clinical expertise with relationship-building, working closely with providers, referral sources, and internal teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and seamless onboarding.

Job Responsibilities:
• Build relationships with hospitals, physicians, clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and referral sources to generate PN referrals
• Educate patients and coordinate the referral/onboarding process, ensuring all clinical and payer requirements are met
• Ensure intake processes remain compliant with ACHC standards and all applicable regulations
• Lead nutrition support team meetings and contribute to patient care planning
• Collaborate with clinical and sales teams to support referral management, reporting, and reimbursement processes
• Identify growth opportunities and support market development initiatives
• Conduct in-services and educational sessions for healthcare providers and decision-makers
• Stay current on clinical trends, research, and best practices in nutrition support
• Participate in industry organizations and professional development activities
• Deliver exceptional patient support and ensure a high level of satisfaction
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
• Registered Dietitian (RD) with active state licensure (multi-state licensure may be required)
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in parenteral nutrition and/or home infusion
• Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, patient education, and care coordination
• Experience with Microsoft Office and/or electronic health record systems preferred
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
