Veterinary Technician
We have recently opened 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and we are currently seeking to fill multiple veterinary technician positions. (Overnight, day and swing shift):
- Shifts looking to fill.
- 4 pm to 2:30 am.
- 7 am to 5:30 pm.
- 12 pm to 10:30 pm.
This position offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including a full-time alternative work schedule, 401(k) eligibility after one year, PPO dental, vision, life insurance, Kaiser medical options, paid time off after 1 year of employment, and employee pet discounts following the probationary period.
Required Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Avimark software and IDEXX.
- Medical history intake and vaccine administration.
- Blood draws and catheter placement.
- Monitoring, sterilization, and X-ray procedures.
- Animal restraint and facility maintenance.
- Pharmacological drug calculations.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Proper phone etiquette / high-volume phone experience.
- Cash handling.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Fast learner with a flexible schedule.
- Weekend availability.
