About the Role:
As our Director of Catering & Conference Services , you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional guest and client experiences while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
This role is ideal for someone who brings a passion for hospitality, takes ownership, and is committed to driving revenue, operational excellence, and memorable event experiences. Strong sales in weddings is a must for this role.

What You’ll Be Doing Leadership & Ownership- Drive catering and conference services performance through strategic planning and execution
- Lead with an entrepreneurial mindset, taking ownership of revenue growth and client satisfaction
- Build and sustain a high-performing, engaged team culture focused on service excellence
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all catering and conference events
- Ensure smooth, efficient operations aligned with brand standards and service expectations
- Identify opportunities for innovation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement
- Deliver consistent, high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Deliver exceptional service rooted in passion for hospitality
- Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal partners

- Create memorable, personalized experiences for every event and guest
- Partner closely with Sales, Operations, Food & Beverage, and other departments to achieve shared goals

- Maximize catering revenue through strategic selling, upselling, and client retention
- Monitor forecasting, budgets, and performance metrics to ensure business goals are met
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive profitability
- Follow all company policies, safety standards, and procedures
- Maintain accuracy in contracts, event orders, reporting, and documentation
- Uphold a culture of accountability and operational excellence
Requirements

- Proven leadership experience in hospitality, weddings, catering, conference services, or a related industry

- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and client relationship management capabilities
- Experience managing departmental budgets, forecasting, and revenue goals
- Demonstrated ability to lead through change, innovation, and operational growth
- Strong knowledge of sales in all things weddings, catering, conference planning, and event execution
- Experience managing event logistics, banquet event orders (BEOs), contracts, and client communications
- Ability to drive catering revenue through strategic selling, upselling, and business development
- Strong understanding of Food & Beverage operations and event service standards
- Proficiency in hotel sales, catering, and event management systems (Delphi, or similar platforms preferred)
- Strong financial acumen with experience in forecasting, budgeting, and reporting
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Event Management, or related field preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
