Customer Success Manager (San Francisco)

What you'll do

The Customer Success Manager will be the primary point of contact for some of Planiswares most valued and high-profile customers. They will be accountable for overall customer satisfaction and meeting annual quota targets through acquiring additional revenue streams and reducing churn.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage assigned accounts as the main organizational contact for clients.
  2. Develop and nurture trusted advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  3. Collaborate with customer teams including project management offices, process owners, trainers, change management teams, business sponsors, and other stakeholders to maximize the use of Planisware.
  4. Create and execute a roadmap for short- and long-term usage of Planisware, obtaining customer buy-in.
  5. Manage contracts, negotiations, and renewals for professional services, master service agreements, SaaS agreements, amendments, etc.
  6. Understand each sales prospect within assigned accounts, including their organizational influences and decision-making processes.
  7. Identify and develop new business opportunities within accounts, including expanding licenses to meet sales goals and addressing competitive activities.
  8. Deliver presentations to high-level executives via in-person meetings and web conferences.
  9. Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions aligned with customer needs and goals.
  10. Communicate progress on initiatives to stakeholders regularly.
  11. Forecast and monitor key account metrics such as sales results, forecasts, and Net Promoter Score, and report on account status.
  12. Coordinate with cross-functional teams within Planisware to support customer success, and communicate market research and improvement suggestions to management.

What is expected from you

Qualifications required:

  • BA/BS degree and at least 5 years of experience in selling or managing customer success for enterprise software and services.
  • Proven track record of account growth, penetration, and revenue achievement.
  • Experience with enterprise software, PPM software, or Portfolio Management applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and capable of working independently or in teams.
  • U.S. Citizenship or valid employment authorization.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in new product development, R&D management, resource management, or engineering solutions.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, emerging organizations.
  • Experience selling at the executive level.
  • Ability to identify business needs, translate them into technical solutions, and communicate software benefits effectively.

SAN FRANCISCO: This position is based at our headquarters in downtown San Francisco, accessible via public transportation.
