HR Coordinator

Job Title: HR Coordinator

Location: San Ramon, CA (On-Site)
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Coordinator to join our team in San Ramon. This role will support day-to-day HR operations and provide administrative and coordination support across multiple HR functions, including onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HR systems.

The ideal candidate has approximately 3 years of HR experience, is highly organized, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

What you will be doing

• Coordinate and support new hire onboarding and orientation processes
• Maintain and update employee records and HRIS systems
• Assist with benefits administration, enrollments, and employee inquiries
• Support recruiting efforts, including scheduling interviews and coordinating with candidates
• Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Assist with employee relations matters, documentation, and HR communications
• Prepare reports, track HR metrics, and support HR projects and initiatives
• Partner with internal teams to support overall employee experience

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an HR Coordinator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of HR processes and employment practices
• Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, or similar)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience in a fast-paced or multi-location environment
• HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) is a plus
