Duties & Responsibilities

• Project Lifecycle Management : Directly supervise and manage the entire construction process, from initial construction drawings and design phases through to project completion and final sign-off, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.
• Labor and Resource Coordination : Oversee the labor function for all assigned projects, including managing construction agreements, providing oversight of general contractors, conducting regular project visits, and facilitating necessary follow-ups.
• Design and Plan Assessment : Conduct thorough reviews and assessments of project plans, including architectural, structural, and design specifications, to ensure feasibility, compliance, and quality.
• Contract Negotiation & Vendor Management : Review bids from subcontractors, negotiate favorable contracts, and effectively manage relationships with all vendors and trades.
• Quality Assurance & Workmanship : Coordinate various trades and subcontractors, conducting rigorous assessments of workmanship to ensure the highest standards are met at every stage of construction.
• Stakeholder Communication : Maintain consistent and transparent communication with all stakeholders, including management, clients, subcontractors, and design teams, providing regular updates and addressing concerns proactively.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience : A minimum of 5 years of progressive project management experience specifically within commercial construction, with a strong preference for ground-up hotel or hospitality projects.
• Education : Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical), Architecture, or a related field.
• Construction Expertise : Proven hands-on experience managing the entire construction process from design to completion, including comprehensive knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and safety regulations.
• Commercial Project Experience : Demonstrated experience in new construction of commercial projects, with a strong portfolio of successfully delivered ground-up developments.

About the Role
