Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assure out-going wafer quality in FRE and GO
• Perform FA and provide disposition for issues flagged by customer
• Drive 8D closure with CAPA implementations to prevent reoccurrence
• Collaborate with process and equipment engineering to improve module score card for quality related items like error proofing, 6S, procedure,...
• Promote Quality Culture among wafer process and equipment engineering teams
• Prepare and present weekly reports in meetings with management and customer
• Facilitate process FMEAs

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years’ or master’s degree with 2 years’ experience in wafer fab engineering of magnetic head, CMOS, or other products of comparable complexity.
• Knowledge of the integrated process flow from wafer start to finish is strongly preferred.
• Project leadership to coordinate, facilitate, and drive actions of cross-functional teams.

SKILLS:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Basic understanding of wafer product, including HAMR
• Knowledgeable of SPC, wafer process build, interconnection between process, equipment, manufacturing, backend a plus
