About the Role:

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Accounting & Billing Specialist to join our team and work in-house. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys keeping things organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to take ownership of accounting functions beyond just data entry.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining and updating our books, assisting clients with billing questions, and performing in-house audits for payables and receivables. This role is ideal for someone who wants to be more involved in the operations of a growing business, who can see the big picture, and help build better systems from the inside out.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update accounting records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable and payable.
• Respond to client billing inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
• Perform regular internal audits of financial records and transactions.
• Support management with financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
• Help build and refine systems to improve workflow and accountability.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Experience with client billing.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable communicating with clients and internal teams.
• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency with Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel.
• A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative, in-person environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $28 – $35/hour, depending on experience.
• Performance-based bonus potential.
