Under the general direction of a Supervisor I, the incumbent Analyst II will support the Senate Bill 156 funding for infrastructure projects that will provide broadband access to no less than 98% of California households. The incumbent will work with other program staff to create tools for various reporting requirements required for grant recipients, track funding requests and transfer activities, assist program staff in the development and submission of monthly activity reports on new and ongoing projects, track program expenditures and project data; support the review and processing of project grant applications and payments; create outreach materials to promote the grant programs, develop tools and systems to support field activities in high need regions; research, document, analyze, and recommend alternatives to improve operating practices in the oversight of the program.

These positions are advertised as Limited-term for 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or may become permanent.

This is a hybrid position that will require the selected candidate to report to their assigned headquarter office a minimum of two (2) days a week. Hybrid positions may be eligible for telework under California Government Code Section 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California. - Describe your experience in fiscal management including budget tracking, processing payment requests, record-keeping, reporting, and oversight and monitoring of contracts to ensure fiscal accountability.
- Describe your experience in conducting research, analyzing data, and creating reports to make recommendations to management.
- In addition to addressing the Minimum Qualifications (MQ) questions, please elaborate on your experience in the areas outlined under the Desirable Qualifications below.

Desirable Qualifications
In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
- Experience with project planning and project management.
- Experience with drafting and editing large, detailed and technical reports for internal and external audiences.
- Experience with the administration and implementation of grants including ability to apply strict rules and guidelines.
- Knowledge of state and/or federal grant rules and regulations.
