Material Handler

Description

Fluidra is looking for a Material Handler to join our team in Perris, CA.

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

The Material Handler should have substantial understanding of an assembly line in a Distribution Center. Work with assembly lead and assemblers to pick raw materials and parts and deliver to assembly lines as needed. Additionally, you will:

• Will pick parts in the warehouse using primarily the standup forklift.
• Ability to prioritize and communicate is required to complete daily workload and keep lines running.
• Will be using a handheld scanner to log inventory.
• Computer skills a plus.
• Work area must be kept clean and organized during the entire shift.
• Perform 5S as stated by department requirements at end of shift or when there is stoppage of work.
• Responsible for reporting all safety concerns and quality issues to Leads and/or Supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE SEEK

• Ability to work quickly and accurately without jeopardizing the safety to self and others.
• Warehouse experience is a must.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with a positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Fluency in English– writing, oral and interpersonal communication.

EDUCATION

High school education or equivalent preferred.

Expected hourly range is $21.00 - $26.00. Fluidra offers a comprehensive total rewards / benefits program that includes base salary, annual bonus based on performance of individual and company objectives, competitive 401K matching, paid vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, etc. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and location.
