Surgical Dental Assistant
Our modern, fully digital periodontics and implant specialty practice is looking for a dependable Dental Assistant to join our team.
We are a specialty office focused exclusively on periodontics and implants (no general dentistry). We value efficiency, organization, and a calm, professional patient experience.
Experience in periodontics is not required — we are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the periodontist during surgical and non-surgical procedures
- Take digital radiographs and CBCT scans
- Perform intraoral scans (Trios)
- Maintain a clean, organized lab, sterilization area, supply closet and operatories
- Follow sterilization and infection control protocols
- Accurately document treatment in digital records
- Provide post-operative instructions as directed
- Reviews the schedule daily and prepares operatories in advance to support smooth surgical flow
- Anticipates clinical needs and takes initiative to prevent delays
What We’re Looking For:
- Dental Assistant with active California X-ray license
- Comfortable using computers and digital systems
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Friendly and reassuring with patients
- Responsible and punctual
- Hardworking and eager to learn
- Interested in growing long-term within a specialty practice
- RDA license is not required.
