Home Health Office Assistant

About Us: At Comfort Home Health, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. We are looking for a reliable, organized, and professional Office Assistant to join our administrative team and support daily operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors, answer phones, and direct calls appropriately
- Maintain and organize patient charts and medical records (electronic and paper)
- Assist with data entry, filing, and faxing documents
- Schedule patient visits and coordinate with field staff
- Ensure office supplies are stocked and organized
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and communication
- Support billing and payroll processes as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient and agency information
- Perform general clerical and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous office or administrative experience preferred (home health or healthcare setting a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
