Job Summary
The Professional Development Admin Assistant is responsible for coordinating all education activities in collaboration with the Clinical Education Specialists and Director of Education. Facilitates department and hospital strategic goals; ensuring the coordination of communication to Administration, management and regulatory agencies to assist in maintaining ongoing compliance to established standards. Facilitates planning of events, classes and meetings to for the Education Department as well as other departments throughout the organization. Is responsible for ensuring that the online event scheduling/management program is maintained and appropriate staff is educated on use of the system. Manages education center by ensuring that equipment is in good working order, works with EVS to ensure that meeting rooms are set up and ready for each event. Assists all departments as needed with catering needs.

Education:
- Associate Degree preferred
Experience:
- Two years previous experience as administrative support required, preferably in education department or service excellence.
- Proficient in PC software including but not limited to Microsoft Office.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Communicate clearly through written and verbal formats.
- Excellent customer service knowledge and skills.
- Proficient in PC software including but not limited to Microsoft Office.
- Ability to troubleshoot AV equipment.
- Frequent sitting and standing/walking with frequent position change.
- Continuous use of bilateral upper extremities in fine motor activities requiring fingering, grasping, and forward reaching between waist and chest level.
- Occasional/intermittent reaching at or above shoulder level.
- Occasional/intermittent bending, squatting, kneeling, pushing/pulling, twisting, and climbing.
- Occasional/intermittent lifting and carrying objects/equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Continuous use of near vision, hearing and verbal communication skills in handling telephone calls, interacting with customers and co-workers and performing job duties.
